Does burning ethanol in 2004 Explorer cause any harm to the engine?

It wont cause any damage right off Ethanol is corrosive it will eventually corrode the injector pintle valves you fuel lines and the gas tank. When they build flex fuel vehicles the gas tank has to be made out of either stainless steel or plastic the fuel lines and injector valves have to be made out of stainless steel besides the computor has to be reset to run ethanol
