Should i break up with him or not?

okay so i really like my boyfriend, i dont like him i love him, well i think i do. and he always says he loves me, well only on texts. my friends HATE him. well most of them. ever since i have been going out with him they always say ewww and they think i should break up with him. but i really like him. hes ushally really sweet. i kinda want to break up with him, but then again i would miss him soooooooo much. and we have only kisses 4 times, and we hav only kissed when ppl r like kiss her kiss her! i just dont know what to do.. listen to my friends or ..? i have to many feelings. what do u think i should do?
