My sims isn't working! SIMS 2 PS2?

It's says:"Failed to find any Direct X 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latestet drivers provided by the manufacturer. The application will now terminate." >:O ! how can i fix this, rephrase this or send me links to download it . :| !
