Regular ULP and ethanol based ULP?

Alcohol has about 10 to 15 percent less energy per volume than Gasoline does. Less energy equals less power developed. Less power developed equals more product needed to go the same distance or lower mileage for ethanol based fuel. Here in the U.S. we no longer have a choice. There is no gasoline sold anymore that doesn't have at least 10% ethanol. I have always kept very accurate mileage records on my vehicles as a way to tell if something was changing with the engine's performance. After the change to ethanol all my vehicles had a 10 to 12 percent drop in their gas mileage.
