How do i get my hair to be like the guys in DBSK? all spikey but dry-natural looking?

how do they do that? is there a special kind of gel or something or do they excessively use hairspray, the hair looks dry and natural so they didnt use gel, they best example i can give is cloud strife's hair in the movie final fantasy 7 advent children where the hair is dry and natural but all spikey, so yea, helpplease>?
