Can I put pebbles in my breeding net?!? Answers ASAP!!!!!!?

Hi I need to put my pregnant sailfin in the breeding net, and I need to know if I can add Rocks in my breeding net? And how much?( ps they are pebbles the size of the tip of your index finger)
