How do you write the title of other books in a novel?

Hey, so I'm writing a story and I was going to have one of the characters reading a book about child abuse (it's cause she knows her friend is being abused) Anyway how do I write the title in my book? Is it italicized or is it like underlined? Also what about a name of a song? Would that be italicized or whatever like the book title?
