Hysterectomy help please

I'm getting ready to have a l hysterectomy. I'm a little worried about the after effects of the surgical menopause does anyone have any advice? Oh yea I am almost a newlywed I want to get this done to help feel better but I'm afraid of what the after effects are. I don't want to alienate my husband he is so wonderful.
