I want my bellyon pierced. my parents are interfering with the answer i would lke to hear. help?

i'm 14 about to turn 15. and i would like my belly on pierced for a christmas present. my mom says i'm not ready for the attention i will get when it's done? but i'm pretty sure it is so common to have your belly on pierced no one will even notice. any suggestions on how i could possibly talk my parent's into letting me get this done. and i really dont want any stupid answers. thank you!
