Can you explain what this means in Julius Caesar?

The servant has been told by Antony to go to Brutus and tell him that Antony supports him and that although he loved Caesar, he will be loyal to Brutus and not try to avenge Caesar. Antony is saying, through the servant, that he wants a truce and will not do anything to subvert Brutus. What happens next?
